“Sarah Ghoshal was a student in a graduate creative writing class that I taught at Long Island University. Besides being a very talented poet and fiction writer, she was also excellent at offering her critique of writing by others. She worked well in collaborative groups in the classroom. Although I have not observed her teaching, my sense of it (through discussions with others in the Department and my experience with her in the classroom), is that she would be an excellent teacher. Graduating with an MFA, Sarah has gone on to publish her writing. Many MFA students stop writing after they graduate; therefore, I am always happy when Sarah sends me links to her poems.”
